Bl.ODGETT BOUNTIFUL - It's a happy hap-py occasion, and a little unusual, un-usual, when a baby is born completing five living generations. genera-tions. BUT THERE'S one Bountiful Bounti-ful tot that w ill some day have a lot to boasl about. He's Brandon Scott Park, son of Dean and Laurie Bangerter Ban-gerter Park, born May 30. 9H2. Little Brandon has three different five-generation families fami-lies -- all three branching from his mother's side of the family. PERHAPS just as intriguing is the fact that little Brandon was greeted into the world four and one-half months ago by four grandparents, seven great-grandparents and his three great-great grandparents, grandpa-rents, a total of 14. His three great-great-grandparents are Rilda Hep-worth Hep-worth Andrews, age 90, formerly for-merly of West Bountiful and now a resident of Logan; William Wil-liam James Wrieht, Kavsville, age 83; and Alfhild M.' Moulton. Moul-ton. Salt Lake City, the youngest at age 80. FOUR OF the seven great-grandparents great-grandparents now reside in the Bountiful-Centerville area. The other three reside in Texas. Living in Bountiful are Charles H. Bangerter, Fern W. Bangerter, Lloyd E. Moon and Iris H. Moon. Lester R. Park Sr. and Florence Park reside in San Antonio, and Vera Murphy Mur-phy lives in Yorktown (Texas). Grandparents include C. Reed Bangerter and Sharon Moon Bangerter, both of West Bountiful; Lester R. Park Jr., San Antonio, Texas: and Joan Prather, Salt Lake City. "A CHILD having three five-generation families living must be come kind of record," commented great-grandfather Lloyd E. Moon, senior vice president and cashier of Utah Bank and Trust. "Having 14 grandparents, great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents still living is a real achievement for any child. And being a part of three five-generation families is very unusual." (PICTURED IS little Brandon Bran-don and the three five-generation five-generation families of which he is a part). |
