Show Biugliain Ore Last eeaon it was stated by those whose who should know that if water could have been obtained Bingham would be one of the liveliest camps in the country There is an abundance 01 goldbearing ore in that section easy of access but i is not very rich however i reduces readily and could < be made a good paying investment providing sufficient water could be obtained to work large quantities This however was a fetal difficulty and in the jeic o ruahe the ore loduce t ie yellow filth tnere was for a time 1 great dial talk of erecting works the Jordan River and on running run-ning the ore dawn to the works end there reducing IL A calculation showed that i would pay to act on this plan and it was all but decided to carry it out However fall coming com-ing on the matter was dropped and has net since been revived excepting the mill to be erected for the Old Jordan mentioned heretofore but as this is understood to D for the purpose pur-pose of working exclusively in ore from the Old Jordan Mine it has no material connection with the idea above mentioned The heavy fall of now this winter almost i not unprecedented will greatly relieve the difficulty experienced experi-enced last season by affording water to run mills and generally contri bute to the welfare of the camp but it i estimated that this will be far from adequate to the demands even of list season while the prospect pros-pect indicate that they will bo much greater this aeasoa Still it will give confidence and assurance and greatly enhance the value of such properties as are in the possession of water rights as well as to others but there is no reason to believe tbe obstacles of last season will not be renewed this R3 the increased water supply is bound to be consumed by the prospective increased workings and will leave new claims precisely where they were before 01 course all this indicates better times in the camp but the water question will again arise and chances are that the conundrum will resolve itself back again to where it was last year tbat the erection of I mills on the Jordan is the only solution of the matter I the idea was good last summer it certainly is this i i would pay then it will pay now ani as it has been stated and probably demonstrated by men whose judgment judg-ment in such matters is authority that the investment would pay good return there is little doubt but it will be acted upon it certainly will i there ia any money in it It is i to be hoped the idea may be acted upon as i would make Bingtaai livelier than it over was before |
