Show Oar German Senator There was quite a large audience at the Theatre last evening to witness wit-ness Our German Senator with Gus Williams in the leading role Mr Williams had been here before when he became a favorite and a great many were anxious to see last night whether he would do as well as an actor as he did as a specialty I artist The character and piece gave scope for plenty of fun and plenty of fun Mr Williams made if the long loud and almost immoderate immod-erate laughter of the audience may be taken as evidence Mr Williams introduces some of his specialties which took very well Without en tering into anycriticism the company com-pany was on the whole very good some making excellent characters out of the parts assigneoMhem The same piece will be given for a matinee mati-nee this afternoon when ladies and little ones can attend and laugh at the eccentricities or Our Geiuuon Senator The engagement of Mr Williams and troupe concludes this evening the same play being repeated Another An-other goodsized audience is anticipated antici-pated |
