Show PEOPLES CONVENTION Nominees for Representatives tc the legislative Assembly At 10 oclock on Saturday morning morn-ing delegates to the district couveu ion of the Peoples party for the nomination of representatives to the Council at the next session of the Legislative Assembly met in the dry Hall Hon John T Caine was elected president with S W Darke as secretary and after the examination credentials and other preliminary business the organization tion was made permanent with T F Rusche and C L Anderson was vicepresidents Mrs Johni Cannon assistant secretary and Chas H Crow as serge mtatarmg Nominations were then declared in order and from the body of the house the following were made and sustained by the convention as nominees for councilors in the next Legislature H J Grant H J Richards W W Taylor of Salt Lake County and T F llusche of Davis County At the conclusion of tha business of this convention the body was again called to order and the convention convened for the nomination of parsons to be voted for as representatives in the next Legislature lion John T Caine was made president of the convention W Jai ke secretary S Francis and T F Uuscne vice presidents Mrs John Q Cannon assistant secretary D McKenzie chaplain and 0 Crow sergsantat 11 ms The convention at once proceeded pro-ceeded to work and the following were nominated by the convention t James SharI John Morgan John Clark Don Carlos Young Caleb D Briton of Sait Lake County Samuel Francis of Morgan 3lie convention then aujourned |
