Show COBRIGTION t NEW YORK Feb 28 1883 Dear Sir In regard to the report that is being circulated by a music firm in your city that we do not make as good a Piano now ia we did before the fire we beg to say that they have not seen any of our Pianos that we have made since our recent fire and know nothing about them Their infamous statement is a PURE FABRICATION of their own for sinister motives They have always spoken in the very highest terms of our Instruments when they were our agents which I believe many of the teachers and others in your city can verify It would be the height of insanity ia us to anger or weaken IN THE LEAST POSSIBLE DEGREE the high standard of excellence that our Pianos have attained in this and in other countries and that has taken us so many years of steady and persevering application to establish The fact is that we have added a number of Important Improvements in our Pianos that were contemplated before the destruction de-struction of our factory and our Instruments are now UNSURPASSED by those of any other maker Reference Ref-erence to our new catalogue will show the latest improvements and alterations Your remark that II the advance of prices would no doubt be found in the additional value of the Pianos now being made is strictly correct and the exact truth of which you will fully appreciate when you receive the lot orderd and now under way |
