PIONEER BOWS TO DEATH c C Dies at Daughters Home In Gunnison Special to The Ephraim Jan lS C of Gunnison died yesterday esterday at the home of his daughter Mrs Joseph Blixt fol following following lowing a brief illness Ines of a pneumonia Death came as a great surprise to the people ot of the community who were not even aware ot of his Iness illness Mr forward was born In Sweden 72 years ago and while a young man embraced the Mor Mormon Mormon mon faith emigrating to Utah shorty shortly after He remained In Sal Salt Lake for some little time and then removed to Gunnison whIch has been his homo home since Three children survive him Since the death of his wife he has made his home with his daughter He was one of the earliest earlest settlers setters of son The funeral services will be held at the Gunnison meeting house cemetery Interment wl will be in the city
