HEALTH REPORT SlOWS SHOWS INCREASE IN SMALLPOX Contagious diseases are arc again on the increase the board of health report for forthe forthe forthe the week ending Friday night showing cases in the city as compared com compared compared pared with fiftysix for the previous week The increase Is chiefly smallpox cases which numbered as against twelve In the previous week The other diseases were Scarlet fever eighteen whooping cough eighteen diphtheria three measles two chIck chIckenpox chickenpox two typhoid fever one tuber tuberculosis tuberculosis tuberculosis one There are still houses under quarantine in the city on account of oC smallpox and fifteen cases remain at the isolation hospital There are also quarantined houses on ac account account count of ot scarlet fever nine for theria heria and one for tor epidemic spinal men Besides these smallpox cases three I more nore were reported Saturday These were vere Bessie and James Roach aged 14 and 15 years children of James Roach 2 0 South Eighth West Vest street and Jo seph Leatham 25 5 years ears room SO 30 0 Im hotel Births Jumped back to where here they belong and ad are again ahead of the deaths for the past week numbering of ot whom were boys toys and girls There Thero were deaths of or whom twenty were male and twelve females female Six bodies were shipped to Salt Lake City for or burial
