Show Farmington News By KATHRYN JENNINGS 451-2027 The James Udy family reunion reun-ion was held Aug. 16 in the Farmington City Park. Approximately Appro-ximately 100 people attended the affair which was the 160th birthday party of James Udy. Also honored were Marva Udy Earl and Edwin Earl. A history was prepared on their lines and Mrs. Earl was presented with a basket of roses. Many of the guests came from quite a distance, Tessa and Mary Udy were from Niagara Falls, New York. Also present for the reunion were Joyse Weiss and Chris Mooney, newly elected president presi-dent and chairman. Dale Uday was from Lavton and Hart Udy Beecher, Salt Lake City. Genealogy representative for the family is Zelda Tidwell of Farmington. This is an annual event held in Farming-ton Farming-ton near this date. An Elison cousins reunion was held August 17 at the home of Zelda Tidwell, for approximately 35 guests, some of the cousins had not seen each other for 30 years. Guests came from Texas, California, Idaho and various parts of Utah. Alene Sessions was co-hostess co-hostess with her sister, Zelda Tidwell, for the occasion. The Farmington Stake hosted a Tri-Region Special In-terst In-terst dinner at Farmington City Park on August 22.
