Show Harried Last evening at the evidence of the bride on Fourth South street Mr E E Bartlett of Denver and Mrs H E Hawley daughter of Mr and Mrs H S Beatie of this city were united in the bonds of matrimony the Rev Mr Dc Witt of the Baptist Church per forming the ceremony The affair was very quiet only the near relatives of the bride being present but it was none the less an occasion of heartycongratula tions to both the lady and the gentleman An elegant and cosy little wedding supper sup-per was sat down to and until a late hour guests hostess and host commingled com-mingled in the most enjoyable sociability so-ciability Mr Bartlett is an engineer on the D R G line and is well known as one of the most popular boys on the road His wife is equally esteemed in the circle in which she moves as a young lady as noted for her amiableness as she has been for her dash ready wit and selfreliance t |
