Show Deaths and Funerals HULMSTON The funeral of Thomas Thom-as Kenneth Hulmston wps held yes terdav at the family residence, 2766 Wall avenue. ElJcr John McQuarrle presided and was one of the speakers. The other speaker was T S Browning. Brown-ing. Miss Eva Rose sang "Face to Face ' and "Oh, Dry Those Tears " and Elsie Shorten sang ' Sometime we'll Understand." The interment was made in the city cemetery, the grave being dedicated by Alfred Gladwell BURT Ruth M. Burt, the cighteen- monins oiu Maiignier or .Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burt, died yesterdav evening at the family home on Twenty-first street, near Washington avenue. The body was taken to the Larkln mortuary mort-uary and the funeral will be held Sat urday at 2 p m in the Larkin chapel, Rev. Cushnahan officiating. SHUPE The funeral of Peter R Shupe was held yesterday at 2 p m. in the Fourth ward meeting housp Bishop James Fuller of the Eden ward presided and the speakers were President Pres-ident .Tames Worhfrspoon. William Lowe and Raymond Thompson Mrs Rhea Stevens Roberts Rob-erts and Mary Jacobs sang "Sometime "Some-time we'll understand" and "Beautiful "Beauti-ful Isle"; Mrs William Howell sang sang ' Some Sweet Day" and Edward Saunders sang "Resignation." MORIHIRO The body of Montaro Morihlro, a Japanese, aeed 34 years, was brought to Ogden last night from Cache Junction and taken to the Kirk-endall Kirk-endall mortuary. The Japanese was the janitor of the Oregon Short Line station at Cache Junction and, according accord-ing to the report accompanying the body, was murdered near that place on October 6 The funeral was held early this afternoon and the body interred in-terred in the city cemetery, DANIEL Leslie, the 6 -months-old son of Mr and Mrs. Edmund Daniel, died at ?. a. m today at the family home, 202S Douqlaps avenue. Funeral Fu-neral services will be conducted by Reverend Rassweiler at the home Sunday at 2 p. m. Interment in City cemetery. PEARSON Died this morning at 2:30 at her residence, 2626 Barlow avenue, after but a three days' illness ill-ness Ivena May Pearson, wife of Lceth Pearson and daughter ot Thomas A. Shreeve She gave birth to a eon on the ."th inst. A very severe se-vere surgical operation followed by another two days after, from which she could not rally, desplto the care and skill of the attending physicians She was born January 9, 1893, at Franklin. Ida., but has passed all her life in Ogden City, where she has been a faithful worker In the Mormon Mor-mon church She was married September Sep-tember 11. 1S93. DRAAYER Martina Maria Draaj-er, Draaj-er, wife of John Draaycr, Jr , died at P p m yesterday at Clinton, Utah. Mrs Draaer was born in Alvin, Holland, Hol-land, August 2, 1881, and came to the United States In 1900, when she married mar-ried She is the daughter of Klas and Adrian Schipper, who with the husband survive her. together with the following brothers and sisters: Adrian and William Schipper of Ogden, Og-den, Mrs A Llmberg of Ogden and Mrs. R. Bowman of Salt Lake, and her children: Maria, Adrian, John Frederick W., Claude W. and Kenneth J. Draayer. Funeral will be held Sunday at 12:80 p. m.; In the Clinton meeting house. O. M.
