Show US AC Lists Faculty Committees, Announces Calendar For Year School Will Open Monday, September 27 Scheduling finai plans and announcement an-nouncement of a calendar for the 1943-44 school year, a complete list of the board of trustees and faculty committees at Utah State Agricultural college have been named by college officials. The college calendar was released releas-ed by Professor Wiiford D. Porter, college editor, who announced that catalogues would be available for distribution the first week in August. Au-gust. Both new and returning students stu-dents will register Monday, September Sep-tember 27, according to the calendar. calen-dar. Professor Porter suggested that new students planning to enter en-ter the college fall quarter should send a transcript of their high school or college credits to the registrar prior to taking final steps. Classroom instruction will begin the following day and October Oc-tober 15 .will be the l3st day for adding classes, rospective graduates grad-uates will submit applications for candidacy by October 25. The quarter quar-ter will end December 17. Winter quarter schedule includes registration January 3, 1944 with the test day for adding classes January 21. Annual Founders' day will be observed on March 8 and winter quarter will conclude March 17. Spring quarter registration has been set for March 20 with instruction in-struction until June 2, commencement commence-ment June 3, and the baccalaureate baccalau-reate service the following day. Broad curriculum to meet the needs of peace and war characterizes character-izes the entire school year program pro-gram of the seven schools agriculture, agri-culture, engineering, industries and trades, home economics, commerce, education, arts and sciences, and forestry. With American education proving itself in war as in peace TJSAC feels a specific responsibility to carry on its regular work, Professor Pro-fessor Porter Explained. The catalogue cata-logue indicates that the same type of superior training offered by the college in past years, again will be offered to students this year. |
