This principle is true. When the people were driven from that place some wished to sell their lands, but they were counseled not wards of the Stake have commodious commodi-ous places of worship; others have houses in course of construction. Along with these improvements is seen an interest in .spiritual matters mat-ters among the people. But a spirit of indifference is found among some of the saints. 'Apostle Merrill said the saints need admonishing over principles but partially understood more than they need new doctrines preached to them. Beiieved the time would coii.e when Bishops would devote their entire time to their ward affairs instead of their own in'cr'sts. The people should look upon donations and olferings with pleasure, as it is their duty to help build up Zion. We are the mott favored people on the earth today. We should be humble and forgive others and af-k God to forgive for-give us our faults. The general authorities of the church and of Boxelder Stake were j presented and sustained by the j Conference, Apostle Teasdel spoke briefly on the sacrament. The name of Jesus Christ is the only name under heavens by which we can be saved. Before we are permitted to partake of this sacrament we are required to have faith in Him and accept His gospel. There can only he one priesthood, one faith, one baptism, one true gospel and no one is authorized au-thorized to olfieialc in that except those called of (tod. The priuci- pies of righteousness should at all j times be kept before the children. Every individual makes bis own record, or d the intelligence obtained, ob-tained, retv;atn with him forever. A poslle Lyman saw the great necessity of reformation. The priesthood is given us that we may guard the welfare and interests inter-ests of the church that uro entrusted entrust-ed to us. All inilulgencis which drive the spirit of the Lord from us nie improper, and we cannot a fiord to indulge in them. A recoiling recoil-ing day is coininy; if we have heen earnest and good we will receive credit and favor from heaven, hut we will have to answer for all evil , done. Choir sang an anthem.
