Show THE .?9e-- 2 Letters to The Editor Dear Editor, In the January 12th issue of the Parson a letter by Mike McKain was printed. In this letter he compares those who disagree with his views on Viet Nam (a majority of Americans) with the Nazis thirteen times and once equates the President of the United States with Adolph Hitler. The Americans in favor of repelling Communist are also accused aggression in Indo-Chiof genocide at least four times. In conclusion, Mr. McKain objects to the use of smear tactics against his position on Viet Nam. The Christmas card by the Student Action group on the same page , repeats the Fascist charge in somewhat more subtle and intellectual terms. These expressions are almost verbatim equivalents of similar presentations by the extreme left wing isolationists of 1939-4- 1. If the letters are intended to indicate the tactics and thinking of the Vietniks they are an excellent choice, unfortunately they seem intended as expressions of legitimate and meaningful analysis of the Viet Nam situation. As such they show regretably poor judgement and discrimination by the editor. Dr. Jack J.
