The Salt GRANITE Lake County Recreation Automotive League finished its season on Saturday, July 16, and is now in the midst of tournament action, which got under way Tuesday. The tournament, which will on and continu Thursday, Saturday of this week, will wind up next week with games on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The winning team and the runner-u- p will move on to Glendale, California, where they will participate in the Regional Mickey Mantle Tournament, to be held from July 30 through August 3. The Automotive tournament was scheduled to start on Saturday, July 23, but had to be rescheduled according to Mike Killpack and Kenny Caputo, directors of the league, because of the dates of the tournament in California being moved up.
