Show FIRST SESSION OF CONFERENCE The Attendance Very Large, Nearly Every Stake Being Represented. Salt Lake City, Utah, April 8. The sixty-ninth annual conference of the Latter-day Saints convened at the tabernacle at 10 o'clock Thursday morning. President Lorenzo Snow presided, and the other general authorities au-thorities on the stand were George Q. Cannon and Joseph F. Smith; of the quorum of the twelve apostles, Franklin Frank-lin D. Richards, Brigham Young, Francis M. Lyman, John Henry Smith, George Teasdale, Heber J. Grant, John W. Taylor, Marriner W. Merrill, An-thon An-thon H. Lund, Matthias F. Cowley, Abraham Owen Woodruff and Eudger Clawson; patriarch John Smith; of the first seven presidents of the seventies, Seymour B. Young, C. D. Fjelsted, B. H. Roberts, George Reynolds, Johna-than Johna-than G. Kimball, Rulon S. Wells and Joseph W. McMurrin; of the presiding bishopric, William B. Preston, Robert T. Burton and John R. Winder. The attendance was fully as large as anticipated, antic-ipated, and represented nearly every stake. |
