Crops and early fruit looking well. Luccrn will be ready to cut in two or hreu weeks. Grass is good on the bottoms but the uplands are very dry and it will take much rain to get grass started again. We have plenty of room here for people peo-ple desirous of making homes. There is good land with plenty of water. A visit to this section would soon decide the matter for home-seekers; they could see our crops of grain and fruit, and our fine gardens: the growth of everything every-thing is so rapid that the best possible flavor is the result. Our growing season sea-son is so long that if a crop fails from any cause another can be planted. It is only a matter of a short time before the railroad will be through this valley.
