Show ATTEND POULTRY ASSN. MEETING The following representatives of Washington county were in attendance at-tendance at the tri-county poultry meeting held at Cedar City last Thursday night: From the marketing mar-keting association board, Manager Orval Hafen, County Agent Walter Wal-ter F. Smith, President Vivian J. Frei, Andrew Sproul, W. W. McArthur Mc-Arthur and Morris Wilson, Jr. At this meeting the organization was completed, with the election of the following temporary board: Morris Wilson, Jr., president; Arthur Morris of the B. A. C. faculty, and Edward Redmond of Beaver, first and second vice-presidents. Later the board will include two delegates from-each county, presumably pre-sumably a representative from the county divisions so that all the interests will be better served.. The two appointed from Washington county are Vernon Snow from the west end and Wta. E. Woodbury from the Hurricane section. These six delegates along with the three previously appointed will meet in Cedar City Friday evening to complete com-plete their organization and get everything in readiness for the carrying car-rying on of the proposed program. The constitution and by-laws which have been given a preliminary prelim-inary reading and presentation have for their purpose the establishment estab-lishment of a permanent organization organiz-ation to take care of the needs of the three counties in all phases of the poultry industry. |
