Show Disastrous Dakota Cyclone. Chamberlain, S. D.. May 30. A tornado tor-nado passed through the country twenty-five miles sowth of here, resulting in the death of seven persons and the serious injury of three others. The dead and injured were strewn all about the premises, and all being bruised and maimed in a shocking manner, while the buildings were smashed into splinters. splin-ters. The path covered by the tornado was only about twenty rods wide and about three miles in length. The wind was accompanied by a heavy fall of rain and hail, the latter being as large as goose eggs. |
