Show t'txv corxtn,. Regular session held December 3, 1S98. Present Mayor Brown, Council-men Council-men McQuarrie, Cottam and Foster. Minutes of last session read and approved. ap-proved. Councilman McQuarrie reported on the bill of Wells Bros, for repairs on jail, that the committee on claims had allowed $3.50 for work for which warrants war-rants had been drawn. Report accepted accept-ed and $3.50 appropriated in city tax. Report of recorder was read for fiscal year ending November 30, 1898, showing show-ing amounts on hand as follows: Cash $1520.20, merchandise orders $10.50, T. O. and factory orders $15.11, note of Gray Bros. $15.15. Couneilmen McQuarrie and Cottam were appointed to audit report of recorder re-corder and treasurer, and destroy redeemed re-deemed scrip. The petition of C. R. Worthen for compensation as ex-poundkeeper was referred to committee on claims and appropriations. $10 in city tax scrip was appropriated to committed on drainage of streets and alleys. Report of city justice for fiscal year ending November 30, 1898, showing 15 cases tried, and $88.35 collected as fines, accepted. Report of city attorney read and accepted. ac-cepted. Bill of J. R. Wallis for printing, $3.70, allowed. Bill of E. B. Snow, treasurer's notices and office expenses, $10.95, referred to committee on claims and appropriations Bill of justice's court in case of City vs. Fuller, SL5.15, allowed. |
