While riding a horse on the racetrack race-track yesterday Hoy Duflinwas thrown, cutting his head and hands, but lie is now able to get out. The people of this place had a nice Christinas present, which was the pleasure of hearing the Perry band of Cedar City play at the home of John l'iatty. Christmas passed quietly. A celebration cele-bration was held Sunday morning at which a tree of presents were distributed distrib-uted to the children. In the afternoon a children's party was held, the children chil-dren seemed to enjoy themselves. In the evening a party for the adults was given which was much enjoyed. The M. I, A. made quite a success of their entertainment the other night. The object of the entertainment was to obtain means to send to the missionaries mission-aries as follows: .
