Show STATE LAM) NOTICE. United States Land Office Salt Lake City, Utah, Nov. 2, 1898. NOTICE. To -w-horn it may concern: Notice in hereby given that the State of Utah has tiled in this ollice lists of lands selected by the State for Reform School and School of Mines under section 12, of the act of July 16. 18t4. The following tracts, embraced in said lists, are in townships containing mineral claims of record, viz: List 12, for Reform School, N W H of S Vf U cf Pec; 13, Tp; 41 South Range U West. List U, fflr School of Mines, Lot 7, (excluding N E '4 thereof) Sec. 6, Tp. 41 South, Range 13 West. A copy of said lists, so far as they relate to these tracts, by descriptive subdivisions, has been conspicuously posted in this office for inspection by any person interested and the public geuerally. Within the next sixty days following the date of this notice, tinder the departmental reputations of November 27, 1896, (23 L. D., 459) protests Or contests against the claim of the state to any of the tracts or subdivisions herein described on the ground that the same is more valuable for mineral than for pgrieultural purposes, will be received and noted for report to the General Laud Office at Washington, D. C.
