Show Mrs. Edward Terry Recovers Wedding Ring After Its Being Lost 25 Years Recovering her wedding ring after it had been lost for 25 years is the interesting story brought to the News this week by Mrs. Edward Ed-ward S. Terry. The Terrys live on their ranch on the Beaver Dam Wash .forty miles out from St. George, where Mrs. Terry lost her ring, a heavy gold band, with hers and her husband's initials ini-tials engraved within the circle. Although they searched day after day in the vicinity where she was sure she had lost it, and for months kept constant lookout for it, they finally gave up the idea of ever recovering the ring. Then, just a few days ago, when their sons were cleaning the ditch, which conducts the water to their orchard, one of them uncovered the long-lost circlet and carried it to his mother, entirely undamaged undam-aged and with the initials clearly discernable as when it was lost. Mrs. Terry says she has never been much of a believer in "luck" but whether one calls this luck or just an accident she is plenty happy to have her ring back again after being without it for 25 years. |
