Show LNore Hafen and Kay S. Hobbs Marry Here At Bride's Parents Home The home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur K. Hafen furnished the setting for the Sunday noon marriage of their daughter, LeNore to Ray S. Hobbs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hobbs of Santa Paula, Calif. Bishop Byron H. Taylor performed the ceremony in the presence of a large group of relatives rela-tives and intimate friends of the couple. For the ceremony the bride wore a smartly tailored suit of R. A. F. blue with accessories in military red, and a corsage of white carnations and coral god-eita. god-eita. Attending her as maid of honor was her sister, Ruth Hafen, who wore an informal afternoon frock with corsage of pink carnations. carn-ations. v The groom's best man was Joe Rafferty, a life-time friend and schoolmate from Santa Paula, who was here with his wife for the wedding. Also in attendance was the bride's aged grandfather, John Hafen and wife of Santa Clara, and a large group of uncles, aunts, and cousins of the bride, including Mr. and Mrs. Heber Holt and daughter of Enterprise, and relatives rela-tives from Washington, Santa Clara and St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Ferol Hafen and Mr. and Mrs. McKay Neilson, arrived Saturday Sat-urday from Los Angeles to attend at-tend the marriage. Mr. Hafen and Mrs. Neilson are brother and sister of the bride. Immediately following the ceremony cere-mony the parents of the bride assisted as-sisted by their daughters, served a buffet dinner honoring the couple, plates being served to more than 50. At 2 p. m., the couple accompanied accom-panied by Mr. and Mrs. Rafferty left for Prescott, where they will make their home, and where Mr. Hobbs is employed as Government Govern-ment inspector of airports and air planes at that flying base. They made the trip over the old Mormon Trail via Lee's Ferry. |
