Show 1 ( Miss Clara Neilson and John Phillip Krebs Marry At Temple Wednesday Pres. Harold S. Snow performed the ceremony in the St. George Temple at noon Wednesday, June 4, uniting in marriage Miss Clara Neilson of St. George and John Philip Krebs of Logan, Utah. A large group of relatives and friends including the parents of both bride and groom were present to witness the marriage. Her wedding dress was of heavy white slipper satin with appliqued roses in white velvet, vel-vet, with necklace and bracelet of pearls. Following the ceremony the parents par-ents of the bride entertained immediate im-mediate family members at an informal in-formal dinner at their home, after which the couple left for a brief honeymoon in California where they will later make their home. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Neilson of St. George and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Krebs of Logan. Mr. Krebs took out his degree from the U.S.A.C. in 1940 and for the past year has taught mechanics in the Woodward high school. Mrs. Krebs graduated from high school in St. George and has attended the Dixie junior college. Preceding her marriage, the bride was variously entertained by relatives and intimate friends. On Saturday, May 31, she was given a miscellaneous shower at the Arrowhead hotel banquet rooms with her mother and sisters, Mrs. Itha Tobler of Washington, Mrs. Elwood Manwaring and the Misses Ann and Bertha Neilson as hostesses. host-esses. More than 50 guests from St. George and Washington were present. On Sunday, June 1. the bride-elect bride-elect met her many friends at a prettily appointed trousseau tea at the home of her parents between be-tween the hours of 4 and 8 p.m. Guests were met at the door by Miss Ann Neilson. Mrs. Effie B. Pare of St. George and Mrs. May B. Sandberg of Washington were pourers, and assisting with the serving were Miss Ora Sand-berg Sand-berg and Miss Marie Iligbee. The two women are aunts and Miss 'Sandberg a cousin of Mrs. Krebs. ! All were formally dressed for the 1 event. Charmingly gowned in old rose i taffeta combined with net. Miss I Neilson presided in the gift and I trousseau rooms which were tastefully taste-fully decorated with cut flowers. |
