Show Washington Caddie Ncilson Lydia Stephens Reporters Mrs. Martha Tanner, assisted by Mrs. Pearl Turner and Mrs. Helen Ncilson, entertained the D.U.P. at her home Thursday afternoon. The lesson was given by Carma Staheli and the history by Mrs. Martha Tanner. After the meeting refreshments were served. Mrs. Andrew J o 1 1 e y and daughter. Arma Jean. of Los Angeles arrived here Wednesday and will spend about 10 days visiting with relatives and friends. Mrs. D. C. Bullock and Mrs. Lou Alsthrom of Cedar City are spending a few days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Neil-son. Neil-son. Linda Larson of St. George was a week-end visitor at the home of her sister, Mrs .Lydia Stephens. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Webb of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Paxman and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Chadburn of St. George spent Sunday here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Blanchard of Susanville, Calif, were the guests of Augusta Gould Thursday Thurs-day and Friday. Mrs. Henry Watts of Delta returned to her home last week after spending several days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sproul. Miss Fay Stirling, first and second grade teacher, has been absent from school several days with the flu. Mrs. Adelia Tobler is teaching in her place. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Latham and twin daughters, of Susanville, Susan-ville, Calif.; Mrs. David Barney and son, Roy, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Walker and Mrs. Ruby Myers of Panguitch and Mr. and Mrs. Orson Barney and family of Uravan, Colo., were visitors Thursday and Friday at the home of Mrs. Sarah Jane Goul and Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Dewey. Beverly and Kendall Barney have gone to their home at Uravan, Colo., after spending the winter here with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Dewey. Mrs. Lewis Elliker and small son. of Enterprise, spent last week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Tobler. Alex Thayne has returned from Los Angeles after an extended visit with relatives. As a representative of our ward relief society Aggie Sproul left Sunday with other singing mothers of the stake to participate partici-pate in the relief society annual conference at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Pymm and family of St. George were Sunday Sun-day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Turner Sr. |
