Show LAST RITES HELD FOR CLYDE SEEGMILLER Clyde Finiery Seegmiller, five year old son of Danieel and Juie Adams Seegmiller, died Friday afternoon at 3:55, after a long and painful illness. The. child had not been well since he had the measeles about a year ago. Heart trouble and Malta fever were the cause of his death. He had been such a happy little child and until his illness had been so healthy it was pathetic to see the way the little fellow suffered and wasted away. His parents, brother and sisters and friends did all in their power to ease his suffering and help him. Althought he had only attended three days of school at Mrs. Rose Andrus' Kindergarten, her pupils have remembered him continually throughout the winter. win-ter. Clyde is survived by his parents par-ents and the following brothers and sisters: Woodrow Adams, William Wendell, George Burke, Jack DeWane, Helen, Beth and Norma. Funeral services weree held at the home of his grandfather, Charles Seegmiller, Sunday afternoon, af-ternoon, at 4:00 under the direction di-rection of Bishop Arthur K. Ha-fen, Ha-fen, of the East Ward. Speakers were: Dr. W. J. Reichmann and George Brooks. The opening prayer was offered by Elder Roy Bentley and the closing prayer was offered by Maurice Miles. Musical numbers were vocal solos, so-los, "Prayer Perfect," by Mrs. Josephine Spillsbury and "That Little Boy of Mine," by Miss Rihoda Andrus. This was sung by request. A vocal duet, "Whispering "Whis-pering Hope," was given by Mamie Paxman and Viola Gentry. Interment was made in the City Cemetery the grave being dedicated by John H. Cottam. People from Kanab who were present at the funeral were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Q. Adams, and Mr. and M.rs. Ernest Assay, Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Young, Mr. and Mrs. Er-w3n Er-w3n Roundy, and Mrs. Loeta Mil-lett. |
