Show EARL WORTHEN FUNERAL TODAY Death Occurred at 6:30 Wednesday Wed-nesday Evening from Complications Com-plications Following Flu Funeral services will be held at the tabernacle at 5 o'clock today for Earl Worthen who passed away at 6:30 Wednesday night at the home of his sister, Mrs. Wilford Goff. Death followed an illness of five months from complications which resulted from three attacks of flu-pneumonia flu-pneumonia last December and January. Jan-uary. Earl Worthen was born in St. George on April 10, 1897, a son of Joseph S. and Mary Jane Heaps Worthen. He spent his life here and for several years followed the profession pro-fession of mason, being In business with his father. During the world war he was in the service of his country. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Joseph S., Wm., Claude and Robert of St. George, George of Cedar City; Mrs. Sarah J. Booth of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Zaida Eardley of Motoqua and Mrs. Louise Goff, Mrs. Nellie Baker and Mrs. Effie Higgins of St. George. |
