Show P. T. A. TO CELEBRATE ASSOCIATION'S BIRTHDAY Mrs. Helen Painter, president of the Parent Teacher association, reports that a fine program has been arranged for the meeting of the St. George Congress of Parents and Teachers, on Thursday Thurs-day night, February 28, at 7:30 p.m. The program will be presented pre-sented in honor of the birthday of the founding the P. T. A. work. According to Mrs. Painter, features fea-tures of the program will be a past presidents' candle lighting ceremony; a colonial minuet, with Marion Lee and Dick Sul-' Sul-' livan, Shirley Bentley and Gordon Gor-don Hutchings, Ruth Judd and Von Holt, and Nita McQuaid and Elwin Hunt dancing. During the social hour in the gymnasium, a large birthday cake will be served to guests by P. T. A. mothers, dressed in cos7 tumes of the gay '90's. Mrs. Vernon Worthen is general gen-eral chairman. |
