ember 12 with onza enza her case was not considered serious at first and she was rapidly gaining recovery on monday however a week following her taking ill a back set occurred the dis leaah affecting her already weak aai art rt her condition rapidly grew wor worse seand and if it had not been tor for her persistency and courage she would not have lasted as long as she ebe did lefore before her death on saturday night bh she e was unconscious tor for a period of 48 hours she never regained oon con F piousness every thing was done to assist and relieve her by loving relatives and friends she was at the home of her slater sister mrs charles S carter jr at which place she had made her home for the last six years lula fern hamilton was born in mill creek salt lake county nov 6 1893 sho she was the fourteenth child of bishop james C Ilami hamilton luu and isabella hill her mother died at the time of her birth she made her home in mill creek which Is a suburb of salt lake she attended the district schools and graduated later from the granite high school in the mill creek ward ard she pera formed an active part in the church organization she was chorister of the sunday school and taught one of the classes also possessing a rich soprano voice she responded willingly to every call made upon her talents assisting in any church or social function since her coming to vernal she has enjoyed a large circle of friends she has been a trusted and valuable employee employ of the ashley coop co op tor for several years and was working at that institution at the time of her death she has been very active lu li church affairs being a member of the second ward where she was chorister and teacher in the sunday school and chorister of mutual improvement pro associations she has participated in several musical and dramatic productions she took a keen interest in teaching children through music and was highly successful at tho the institution where she was employed her sweet and cheerful disposition won the respect and admiration mi ration of all who came in contact with her her lose will be felt by her fellow employees who all had learn 1 ed to love her dearly the abbley
