Show I f , Norval Massey Norval Massey dies at home Norval (Bun) Gordon Massey, 65, passed away March 30, 1983, at his home in Vernal. Born Oct. 10, 1917, in Dry Fork. Married Mar-ried Anna Pulos March 8, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a veteran of World War II. He lived in Rangely, Colo, and worked in the oil field for 30 years. He retired in Oct. 1979, and has lived in Vernal since then. He was a member of the LDS Church, Maeser 3rd Ward. He was a ward clerk in Rangely for four bishops and also served on the High Council in the Craig Stake. He was a member of the board of the Rock Point Cementery and Maeser Water Improvement Board. He is survived by his widow, Anna P. Massey and his seven children, Mrs. Millard (Anita) Evans, Vernal; Norval Brent Massey, Denver, Colo.; Randy Massey, Thatcher, Ariz., Mrs. Dante (Paula) Ottolini, Ulysses, Penn.; Dennis Keith Massey, Vernal Markel Donavon Massey, Vernal, and Ricky Lane Massey who is serving a mission in Ise, Japan. He had 20 grandchildren. Also survived by brothers and sisters, Mrs. LynnS. (Eula) Hall, Vernal; Mrs. Mervin (Reyma) Horrocks, Vernal; Garth Massey, Livingston, Mont.; Mrs. Merrill (Enid) Anderson, Diamonville, Wyo.; Burell Massey, Vernal; Mrs. Ben (Sybil) Webb, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Theron (Leah) Abplanalp, Vernal; Mrs. Robert (Laurel) Enser, Salt Lake-City. Funeral servics will be April 2 at the Maeser 3rd Ward Chapel. Bishop Max McLean will conduct. Dennis Massey will give the family prayer. Markel Massey will give the invocation. Following Follow-ing remarks by Bishop McLean, Bishop Ronald Robb will speak. Dawna Wardell will sing "In the Garden" accompanied by Jean Murray. President Merrill Anderson will speak. Myke Hall will sing "I Believe." Brent Massey will give the benediction. Prelude music will be by Sharon Stephens. Bonnie Fisher and Steve McGreg will sing "I Have Read of the Beautiful City" accompanbied by Lana Hall. Postlude music will be by Anita Evans. Burial will be in the Rock Point Cemetery. Randy Massey will dedicated the grave. |
