He was a brother lo many and like a brother to many others and a friend to all. Mrs. Carrie Merkley is in the Ashley Valley Medical Center after falling and injuring her back. Arvid and Oral Merkley celebrated their 43 Wedding anniversary last week. Their children present for the occasion were: Kay and RaVae Merkley and (wins of Midvale. Matt and Lynn l Merkley) Bassek and three children of Tooele, Ned and Connie ( Merkley) Cook, and Terry and Aleene (Merkley) all of Vernal. They ate dinner at the Golden Corral and then returned to the Merkley home and played games. Beverly and Lorin Merkley spent last weekend in Sandy to celebrate their granddaughters Melissa Cole Merkley 's first birthday on Monday. March 23. Her parents are Wayne and Robin Merkley. Mrs. Iowa Hacking reports that her brother-in-law Clyde Hacking has been released from St. Marys Hospital in Grand Junction. Mr. and Mrs. Hacking returned home on Tuesday night. George D. and Diane Merkley returned return-ed recently from California where they took two of their grandchildren. Greg and Stephanie Cook, to tour Disneyland. They returned by way of Phoenix. Arizona on business. Coleen Thomas took her son Troy to the Primary Children Medical Center recently for a medical check-up. They returned by the way of Payson to visit Coleen's parents. Lynn was in that area on a job so he returned to Vernal w ith Coleen and Troy. Maeser college students home for the spring break last week were from Ctah State at Logan. Rebecca Parker.
