The Wellness Center provides professional help for making college life easier, because getting everything done in an effective manner can be consuming. Due to their studies and work schedules, most college students don't have time to eat healthily and sleep adequately. The Wellness Center can help you find that balance. Amy Grubbs has been the director of the Wellness Center for eight years. She received a degree in Exercise Science from BYU, and now dedicates her time to the Wellness Center. The Wellness Center offers many different services for only $ 10 per visit, including shots, physicals, stitches and the common cold. The price is just enough to cover the cost of supplies. Director Amy Grubbs saidthefollowingaboutwhat the Wellness Center has to offer: "Research shows that students' health decreases in college, and our programs are research-based, affordable and effective." The Wellness Center is a great service that UVSC provides which students are not capitalizing on. Teen Wolf In theaters this week Are W e Done - (Wednesday) The Reaping - (Thursday) It's been a while, but your favorite article is finally back. This time I have the M-rated, 360 game, Crackdown. The game seems to take place in the not-toodistant future, where they have genetically enhanced clones, but everything else is pretty much the same. Players take on the role of an unnamed, silent-protagonist cop who has superhuman powers and must clean up the crime-infested rat hole of Pacific City. Somehow, the government allowed the crime to get out of control and highly organized street gangs are slowly taking over. As a result, the authorities must resort to human mutation to solve the problem. As you start, your character will have super strength and agility. These powers (as well as your shooting, grenade-throw ing and driving abilities) drastically increase throughout the game. Each of these five categories has its separate meter that fills with points that you obtain from killing enemies. The points you get depend on how you kill the enemy, but agility points are gained from completing races. When behind the wheel, you want a small; speedy car so you can driveunder other cars. This is an excellent game. I love how the character can leap so far from rooftop to rooftop. Being able to pick up and throw just about anything is another nice feature. Your character has enough strength to lift and throw a bus. Crackdown is good, but it could hav^ been better if it had a real storyline. The main character has no relationship to any other character; he simply takes back storage bases from the gangs and kills their leaders. If I had to represent my affinity for Crackdown by using a number ranging from one to 10, I'd give it an 8.9 for its great action and gameplay. Life Editor Anything Will Ferrell touches turns into comedic, moneymaking gold. His latest movie, Blades Of Glory, co-starring Mormon actor Jon Heder, is no exception. Blades tells the story of the two most famous, talented and archrival figure skaters, one being a manly cowboy and the other a "femmie push-pop." When Chazz Michael Michaels (Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Heder) end up sharing the gold and the number one spot on the pedestal, their verbal fighting moves to a physical form. Because of their fighting, officials ban Chazz and Jimmy from the ice forever, with more misfortune to follow. Webpage review After being banned, Jimmy's adopted father disowns him. The only job he can get that's close to the ice is at an ice-skating shop. Chazz turns into a drunken sex addict who finds himself in a lowquality, kiddies ice show. When Jimmy turns toward the same business, the confrontation between the two is brutal and humiliating, yet inspiring for Jimmy's former coach (played by Craig T. Nelson of TV's Coach) who uses a loophole in the system to get the two back into the competition. Since they were both banned from men's singles, they now must bury the hatchet and compete together in the couple's category. Pandora.com killed the radio star You'll never touch your FM radio again Josh Titus Life Writer Let's pretend music has DNA. Every band you. know has a genetic makeup that makes it who it is (and what it sounds like). For instance, a band such as Incubus consists of genes like hard-rock roots, mild rhythmic syncopation, extensive vamping, major key tonality and political lyrics. And like Incubus, the band Radiohead has similar genes of major key tonality, subtle use of vocal harmony and melodic songwriting.
