In spite of the fanatic hostility and hatred of the governments and big business interests of the outside world, Rhodesia has not only survived but created an island of freedom and prosperity inside a continent of tvrannv and povertv and done this in spite of high treason from its own government and the government of South Africa. The conviction of Vaughn Ellsworth for tax fraud by a federal judge who acted as prosecutor and jury is prov iding an opportunity for his friends to publicize the facts about the U.S. illegal and unconstitutional money system far and wide. The judge was so determined to convict Ellsworth he committed numerous errors and showed incompetence and prejudice bordering on mental unbalance. Box 60, , System Near Collapse Sir Rodney Smith, president of the British College of Surgeons, recently summed up his countrys medical situation, when he stated: We are not running out of time. We have run out of time. Smith pointed to increased inefficiency in the system coupled with the exodus of doctors as the latest indicators of the impending collapse. In Great Britain, a patient must customarily wait more than a year for a routine operation. And British hospitals have come to be so poorly equipped that Sir Rodney even told of patients who have had to undergo second operations for removal of gallstones because a lack of equipment led to stones being missed during the first operation. X-ra- mAnme As JUnrUlT More Central Power Why then, does the drive for socialized medicine continue? In the face of readily available information about Great Britains experience, we seriously doubt that everyone who promotes government health care is merely misled. It would seem instead that powerful forces, led by Senator Edward Kennedy, are determined to concentrate all power over America in the hands of the central government. While constantly ignoring the overwhelmingly strong case against socialized medicine elsewhere, they keep telling Americans that they will make the system work here. The first detachment of Marines since World War I have been landed in Germany. Germany will serve as the launching pad for massive airlifts into Israel when the next Mideast war starts. Kissinger has built up the Marines to five divisions, the greatest peacetime strength in history. There were only six divisions during World War II. Apparently strategist Kissinger has chosen the Marines to give ground support to Israel rather than the Army because of the traditional higher espirit (Vcorps of the elite fighting force. This is due mainly to the fact that racial integration in the Marines is still at a very low level. Thus, the Marines have been able to maintain their fighting potential at a far higher pitch than the Army. Marine combat units are less than 10? Negro, and troublemakers are weeded out. Interestingly, Jewish agencies which normally demand full racial integration in the U.S. armed services have not complained that the Marines are comparatively segregated. When Israel calls for ground support in the next war, they will get the best that America has to offer-- as usual. Zionists arc also concerned at the high incidence of support for the Arab cause among Negroes. There is fear that a heavily integrated American Armv would refuse to kill Arabs. Should war start, Marine commanders should take note of the judgement at Nuremberg. As a result of Britain's free medical system, doctors are overwhelmed with malingerers and hypochondriacs; paperwork requirements consume huge amounts of time; the ranks of practicing physicians have become depleted because of. the e numbers escaping to administration; fewrer young persons enter the medical profession because of sharply reduced appeal; and the taxation of all to pay for this progress has Mesa, Ariz. 85201. MARIMF A Chilling Survey What will socialized medicine do to the American system? Irivate Iractice magazine surveyed Americas physicians a year ago to find out. Over 28,000 of Americas 212,000 doctors responded, far more than the few customarily interviewed by highly publicized pollsters. Over 92 percent of the doctors who participated indicated their opposition to the proposed National Health Insurance plan. A chilling aspect of the doctors response was that 80 percent of these physicians said t hey would steer a son or daughter away from the medical profession if socialized medicine became a reality. Remember that a large percentage of today's doctors had a parent who was a doctor. Even more startling, 27 percent said they would quit medicine if Congress saddled our nation with such a program. By the method of professional pollsters, that translates to a loss of 57,000 doctors virtually overnight. Imagine the consequences of that development! ld ever-increasi- . so-call- ed personnel who simply leave the country. The British Medical Association reported recently that the number of doctors seeking emigration in the first half of 1975 has more than quadrupled over the number in previous years. John F.
