Lindsey, of the Utah State Code Authority for the Trucking Industry, are here to establish an agency for the registration of all For Hire truckers operating through the Uintah Basin. Under the NRA Code of Fair Competition for the Trucking Industry it is mandatory that all truckers For Hire register and display insignia on their equipment. Such an agency has been established at Ashtons Shell Station with Mr. A. Y. Siddoway in charge. This matter of registration un. der the National Recovery Act is calculated to be for the best interest of members of the industry and it is hoped that truckers will gladly respond to this law. Basin B. P. W. Clubs Meet At Roosevelt The close of Business Womens Week was featured by a joint conclave of the Basin Business and Professional Womens clubs at Roosevelt, Saturday, March 23rd. Miss Lulu Clegg, state president of the B. P. W, Clubs, was the principal speaker at the luncheon, held in the Shurtleff hotel at 5 oclock P. M. on Saturday. Mrs. Myrtle Lambert and Miss Dorothy Leacher of Roosevelt had charge of arrangements for the luncheon. In the evening, a public meeting was held in the Roosevelt ward chapel at which Miss Lethe Coleman, nationally known speaker, Chautauqua lecturer and State Magazine chairman of the Business and Professional Womens clubs was the principal speaker. Miss Coleman, who has visited the Basin on various occasions in the interests of the local clubs, is widely known and her address, the subject of which was "Security For All and Opportunity (the slogan for National Eusiness Womens week) was enthusiastically received. Community singing was led by V. T.
