The coming year seems to hold many things of promise for us. Moon Lake reservoir will reach its 'completion during the year, and will, if hopes are realized begin storage of water during the coming spring runoff, ready to assist the farmers if necessary for 1938 fall irrigation. Midview Dam and Lake Boreham are about completed, and will be ready for full utilization during 1938. These are two projects of definite Legal Advertising benefit to agriculture in Duchesne County. Prospects are looking better for redevelopment of Blue Bench. There is yet much to do on this project, and one of the best New Year resolutions possible would be a determination to keep hammering on this project. Our Governor, Engineer E. 0. Larsen, Mr. Margetts of the State Planning Board, Wm. H. Wallis of the Utah Water Storage commission and others must all be constantly reminded that Duchesne County needs this projctt, and needs it NOW. 1938 should see the completion of an oil surface on Highway 40 from Salt Lake City to the state line. A little constant reminding on this project can do no harm, however, as our state road commission has built up a fine reputation for putting off till next year what has been promised this year. The complet ion of Highway 40 has been promised. Let us see that the promise is kept during 1938. Two recreational parks are being boosted for the Uintah Basin. One is in Uintah Canyon at the site of the abandoned CCC camp and the other is on the top with emotions that seem truly sincere. Register Date of first publication, Decof Tabby mountain.
