Utah The Leader Thursday, December 16, 1965 Cliristnias Parties Held in Riverside by Myrle Udy The Garland Camp DUP meeting and Christmas party were held Thursday evening at the home of Mabel Munns with the executive officers as hostesses. The lesson was very ably given on "The Heroic Pioneer" by Edna Hyer. A lovely hot luncheon was served by the hostesses. Gifts were exchanged by the 26 members present. There were 38 husbands teachers, officers, and three Stake Board members Lavina Marble, Hilda Peterson and Edith Bronson enjoyed a hot turkey dinner, a program and played games. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Davis visited Mrs. Alda Call in Brig-haduring the week. We are happy to report Dale Udy has returned home but faces a long period of recovery. Esther Jensen went to Salt Lake City Thursday for several days stay with her daughter, Thola Ogden and family. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Burnett and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Marv Burnett Saturday night. The fellows are brothers. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Kraaima and boys of Ogden visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Win. Silvester attended the Christmas Concert at the USU Thursday night in which Nancy Johnson and their son, Bill, played instruments in the concert. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Capener received word of the passing of Mildred's oldest brother in a Salt Lake hospital. She went down Friday and came back Saturday. IS ON THE WAY! VEIPI Thursday night. Mildred Nadine Capener, Richards and Winona Gardner took Guide Patrol Primary class to visit the Methodist Church in Tremonton Sunday. They all enjoyed the meeting. Incentive payments- under the wool program are based on the average national price for marketings during the whole year, and this can be determined more exactly if reports on marketings are complete. He left Tuesday to spend some time with other relatives in Sunset. Mr. and Mrs. Larrie Lazzenby of Payson spent the weekend with the Ed Lazzenby family. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bywater recently returned from a 15 day trip to Gardena, Calif. Their son, Harold, is teaching at the L.D.S. Institute of Religion there.
