Merle Larson played the prelude and postlude, and Russell Bjorklund offered the invocation. The first musical number was a ladies trio, Leah Oyler, Donna Shaffer and Erma Anderson. They sang, "Oh, My Father." Other musical numbers were a vocal solo, "I Believe", by Dan Nelson and "The Holy City," another vocal solo sung by Ardes Adams. Larsen, 65, died Friday in a Salt Lake hospital after a short illness. Born Aug. 20. 1889, in Sweden- son of Carl and Sophia Isaacson Larsen.. Married Edna Peterson, Sept. 20, 1916, in the Logan LDS Temple. He was an active member of the church having fulfilled a mission to Sweden from 1910 to 1912. He served as counselor in the M.I. A. and has taught classes in M.I.A. &nd Sunday School and recently served as a stake missionary. At the time of his passing he held the office of a Seventy. Surviving are his widow and son and daughters, Mrs. Ray (Dorothy Smith, Fairfax, Mo.; Mrs. Martin (Evelyn) Volker, Tarkio, Mo.; GBrdon, Betty. East Garland; five grandchildren; mother; brothers and sis. ters; Mrs. May Bjorklund, Og- - I , Turbo-Driv- dis- Hansen. 91 year old Bear River City man who died suddenly last week, were conducted in the Bear River ward chapel Thursday aftrnoon by Bishop Vernon Johnson. The organ prelude and post-lud- e were played by Wanda Johnson and the invocation was offered by James Jensen. The ward choir sang, "Oh, My Father", Harold Felt played "Angel's Serenade" on his violin, and Mr. Felt and his wife Lillian sang, "The Lord's Prayer" to complete th musical program. Speakers for the service were M. W. Hansn, Ed Stenquist and Bishop Johnson. The benediction was offered by Moroni Mortensen. Burial was in the Bear River Cemetery and II. C.
