Show mark A johnson Joh clover resident buried monday funeral services for mark A johnson prominent resident of clo CIO ver and tooele thoele county were held monday at 3 p in in the tooele thoele first ward chapel under the dir action of parley P eyre of the stockton branch presidency he was born march 10 1880 a son of orson and gertrude johnson early utah pioneers he died in a salt lake hospital thursday march 4 following an operation his early life was spent at clo CIO ver vet and in 1920 he purchased pro perty on ophir creek where he lived until 1942 engaged in farm mg ing and stock raising he was an active member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints and interested in civic activities surviving are his widow eliza beth maxwell johnson five sons and three daughters john M and luke S johnson tooele thoele mrs mar tha hammond grantsville Grants ville mrs virginia timms and grant V john son hooper theron johnson ophir james A johnson stockton and mrs lapreal salt lake city also surviving are a brother edwin J johnson of clover and two sisters mrs irene russell clo gertrude smith salt ver and mrs lake lak e city 38 grandchildren and one great gran grandchild achild at the services w were ere speakers of hooper a and nd V C jensen bi bishop S hop at pres alex F dunn burial was the tooele thoele city cemetery where bishop kussell russell of clover ed the grave |
