Show Murder Mystery Makes You Wonder Who The Killer Is i - ? j o i r pPW-WTW; , -.- " -J0!Vr -T -- by Angie Walker The PG Players are peform-ing peform-ing the murder mystery "And Then There Were None" Friday, Saturday, and Monday evenings through October 25 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee on Saturday, October Oc-tober 23, at 3 p.m. Phil Neil and Heidi Lynn Cochran play the hired servants, ser-vants, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers. Fred Narracott, the boatman, is played by Marty Cooper and the young and beautiful Vera Clay-thorne Clay-thorne by Julia Patch Jolley. Jeff Thompson plays the self-preservationist self-preservationist and flirt Philip Lombard, Bert Fuller, the young and reckless Anthony Marston, and L.D. Weller adds fun to the play as the boisterous drinker William Blore. Dennis Purdie, a veteran and audience favorite, plays Sir Lawrence Wargrave. I feel this play is not for younger children, however, Matthew Lemon came to see his grandfather, Ben Wake. "I thought he did really good," he said. Matthew thought the play was really good as well. Mackenzie Fuller, who also came to support a family member, mem-ber, said, "I thought it was really interesting. I remember reading it as a kid and I couldn't remember remem-ber the ending. It was definitely a fun end. I really enjoyed it. My brother was in the play, so it was really fun to see it." Brent Holdaway, a Den nis Purdie fan, stated, "We had an invitation to come. Dennis Purdie is one of our friends so we decided to come and enjoy en-joy the play. We've come to a number of plays that he's been in and this is just another of the great ones. We always love the plays here. It is always fun. It is kind of one of those theaters that you are up close and personal. per-sonal. It has a nice little homey hom-ey feeling." Kathryn Little and her husband, Howard, have been directing PG Players for about eight or nine years. She and her husband took over after Carlene Young moved. When asked what her favorite play is, she said, "It is always the one I'm doing now." Kathryn spoke of her involvement, "I love it. This is so cozy and home. It's kind of like our little baby. We're pretty tender ten-der with it. We watch over it pretty carefully. We love it!" Tickets are $9 for adults and $8 for students and seniors se-niors ($1 less for the matinee).
