Mayor Bruce Call explained that a message will be included in the next city newsletter and another public hearing will be held. They will include a more compre-hensive study and infor-mation available on the city website. A short-er version of the same thing will be included in the city newsletter. The information on the city website will be more de-tailed than what can be included in the utility billing to citizens. Scott said they want to do their best to be sure all people are informed. The council discussed possible methods of be-ing sure the residents are able to receive in-formation on their con-cerns such as the utility rates via the internet and be able to send their re-sponses back to the city. Scott read the ques-tions they have prepared which are ones they have received at the public meetings on this matter. These questions with answers will be available with answers on the city website. It was noted that the state law says that utili-ties must pay for them-selves. On November 16 will be the next public hearing on the utility rate increase.
