The suspect was cited and released for theft. The officer is still waiting for the rest of the victim and property information at this time. On October 5 a report re-port was made of a double dou-ble seat jogging stroller stolen from the reporting report-ing party's front driveway. at $800. Possible suspect names were given. No witnesses involved and no physical evidence could be obtained. This case was forwarded to detectives detec-tives for further investigation. investi-gation. Police responded on a burglary and found that the suspects had entered the home through a window win-dow and had searched the home for money. The suspects sus-pects took $2,400 in cash before leaving the home. There is no suspect information infor-mation at this time. On October 4, an officer of-ficer was dispatched to contact a female individual individu-al who stated that a laptop On October 1 an officer of-ficer responded to a local residence on reports of a garage door being forced open. Upon arrival the officer found the doorway from the garage was open and the dead bolt was missing. A perimeter was set and the residence then searched with no one being be-ing found inside. A short while later, the homeowner homeown-er arrived home and refused re-fused to co-operate. She refused any sort of help from either the patrol officers of-ficers or the on-call detective. de-tective. The officer then left the scene at her request. re-quest. No further action was taken. On October 2 officers responded to a report' of a business burglary. Items stolen were a computer comput-er Dell laptop valued at $500, a computer monitor moni-tor valued at $100, and an Elect-TV Visio valued was taken out of her vehicle. ve-hicle. A report was taken. No suspect information at this time. On September 30 a report re-port was made of a marijuana mari-juana pipe that was found in the parking lot of a business. The owner of the pipe is unknown. The pipe was photographed and destroyed. No further information. While on patrol on September 30, an officer stopped a vehicle for a plate lamp violation and found that the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. intoxicat-ed. The driver was asked to perform FST's and was later arrested for DUI. The vehicle was impounded impound-ed state tax. On October 3, police po-lice stopped a vehicle for failure to stop when pulling pull-ing onto a roadway from a parking lot. The officers offi-cers identified the driver by means of a California Califor-nia driver's license. The driver was found to have been consuming alcohol and his prescription medication. medi-cation. Following administration adminis-tration of field sobriety tests, officers found the driver to be impaired. The driver made statements state-ments prior to his arrest regarding taking his medications med-ications the date of this contact as well as to having hav-ing consumed alcohol. Police administered an intoxilizer test to the driver driv-er and obtained blood and urine samples from him. A field urinalysis showed positive for the presence of controlled substances which was consistent with the officers' observations |
