Show Services Held Here Nov. 8 For Jane Richardson Funeral services were held Nov. 8 for Margaret Jane Stocks Richardson, 18, who died Nov. 6 in St. Benedict's Hospital, Ogden, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Jane and fellow Moab student and college roommate, Susan Tomsic, were enroute to Moab for a visit when their car struck a department of highways service ser-vice truck which was parked. Susan sustained extensive injuries. Jane was born April 13, 1957 in Moab to Larry and I' 'f t Jane Richardson Gale Scharf Stocks, attending Southeast Elementary, Grand County Junior High and graduating from Grand County Coun-ty High School with the class of 1975. She was an elementary elemen-tary education student at Utah State University, and was interested in working with problem children. In high school she was a member of the drill team, class secretary, and a member of Future Homemakers of America, of which she served a year as secretary. She received the Business and Professional Women's Wo-men's scholarship. Survivors include her mother mo-ther and stepfather, Gale and Jimmy Richardson; father, Larry Stocks; a brother, Bobby Jack Washburn, Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. brent (Ann) Hickman, Moab; grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mrs. Laura Stocks, Moab, and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Richardson, Texas. Services were held in the LDS Church with Bishop Dahl Zohner presiding, and burial was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Turner Funeral Home. Pallbearers were AJ Rogers, Dana Rogers, Sam Scharf, Rex Scharf, Mike Aulds and Earl Odom. |
