JOHN W MEHAN LA SAL MAN CALLED BY DEATH john W mehan 68 resident of la sal died at that place sunday of asthma and an influenza infection mr mehan resided at moab a number of years ago and was well known throughout southeastern utah the remains were taken to price where interment was had funeral services were held at the catholic church at price tuesday mr mehan had no relatives so far as Is known for a number of years he had lived the life of a recluse he was bom in canada january 18 1860 he came to utah in 1878 for years he lived at moab later moving to la sal where he became interested in dry farming
