Scouts plan sign-u- p The officers of the Lakeview District have set aside the month of October as Register a New Eligible Boy in Scouting Month. Approximately 40 per cent of the eligible boys in the Lakeview District are not registered in scouting and taking advantage of the wonderful experiences and training a boy receives in the scouting program. In order to increase the number of boys registered in the scouting program, arrangements have been made with local movie theaters, Roy Theater, Riverdale and Cinedome Theater to give a free movie pass to any registered scout who encourages a friend to register during the month of October. The boy that registers will also receive a free movie pass. All Unit scout leaders in the District should encourage the boys in their units to participate in this worthwhile 3 program. When an eligible boy wants to register, the Unit leader should fill out a Scout Registration Application for the new Scout, Cub Scout, Boy Scout Venture Scout or Explorer, as applicable, collect the correct monthly d registration fee. Then take or have the boys take the application and the registration fee to the applicable Area Representative indicated. If any one has any questions concerning this program, contact your Area Representative or Mr. Melvin pro-rate- W. Wright, 2198 W. 6000 S. Roy, phone 825-480- 9.
