Classes at Carbon JULIA E. C. TRUMAN . Mrs. Julia Euzeil Crandall Truman, 83, Huntington, died Satur- day morning in the Price hospital following an City-Coun- ty ill- ness. She was born December 7, 1871, at Springville to Hyrum Oscar and Harriet Guymon Crandall. She was married to Mica Spencer Truman in Huntington February 2, 1891. He died in 1947. Surviving are one brother, Ralph D. Sunday morning a special reli gious service was arranged for them, with furnishing all the service except for the principal speaker, who was Dean Elvert H. Himes of the Utah State Agricultural College. He spoke on Courage. One of Carbons delegates, LaRene Petersen of Wellington led the singing at this service. Fol lowing the religious service, the delegates were taken on a sightseeing tour of Salt Lake City. They returned to their homes in Carbon county Sunday evening, Sears-Roebuc- 4-- H CLUB FAREWELL The Wellington O. N. O. Club held a farewell party for two members who are moving away, Mrs. Bonnie Wood and Mrs. Beth Woodward. Hostess was Mrs. Albert Timothy at the Price park. A gift was given to each departee. At the previous gathering, the club staged a chicken supper at the Price park for the husbands. On vacation from Las Vegas, Nevada, is Miss Irene Garcia, who is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Thomas Garcia, Price. The visitor is a Carbon graduate and now holds the position of executive secretary at the Lagiers hotel in Las Vegas.
