This was the first meet for Broadbear therefore, she was extremely nervous, but she competed quite well. Both Derek Putter and Michael Glasson struggled to land each dive. Both Dino divers did well, but each dive was completed better during practice with a higher degree of difficulty. In the meet however, both divers went too far over and missed several simple dives according to coach Stewart Foster. Potter looked good on his inward one and one half somersault He went on to finish fifth overall while Glasson placed sixth.
