Forrester, Sr., resident here for more than two score years, died suddenly in San Gabriel, California, last Friday. He was 80 years old. A native of Missouri, Mr. Forrester came to Carbon county in pioneer days and for many years was in business here. He had been living in San Gabriel for the past several years. Just recently he visited in Price and had returned to California only about a week befoie his death. He is survived by his widow; three children, John C. Forrester, Jr., and Joseph E, Forrester of Price and Mrs. Vina Lee Shelton of San Gabriel; and six grandchildien. Funeral services were held Monday, burial being at San Gabriel. Loofbourow, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Loofbourow, former Price residents. Death was due to a heart attack. As a boy, the deceased lived here where his father, one time mayor of Price, was manager of the Weeter Lumber company. He attended school for a short time here, and then attended in Salt Lake City, being graduated from the University of Utah. For the past 30 years he had lived in California. At the time of his death he was associated with the Guaranty Title and Trust company of Los Angeles. His parents moved from Price to California about 5 years ago.
