Tough Course Is Conquered July by 25 Bike Riders in First Race A tough course proved a grueling challenge to 25 intrepid bike riders on Sunday for Park City's First race of its kind. Nicholas Strike, Republican candidate for Governor of Utah, pulled the trigger on the starting gun shortly after 2 o'clock and the racers yrere off. Up Main Street and back down Main Street, then around the bend and off through Snyder-vill- e. Traffic marshals along the way kept cars at a distance and the pace car cleared the way for the riders. Not all were able to finish the 20 mile course but winners in various categories included Ed Parrott, Salt Lake City, winner in the Open Class and winT.R. ner of the new 10-spe- A.K. ed 2nd was Rog Col- racer; Ruben Fuillen. Their times, recorded in minutes and seconds were 45:00 7 46:10; and respectively.
