Show Parley Richins, Heneier Leader, Dies Friday at Summit Hospital Mrs. sister, Beatrice Smith, Mesa, Arlxona; Eleven grandchildren and 83 Native of Peoa Dies in Midvale Parley Thomas Richins, 89, died Friday, August 19, 1967 at 8 a.m. In the Summit County Hospital of natural causes. He was born August 19, 1877 In Henefer to Charles Richins and Ester Stowe He Ovard. married Fannie Judd June 89, 1904 In the Salt Lake Temple. He was In the mercantile business, owning and operating Richins Merc, until his retirement and was also a sheep rancher. He received his education In the Henefer Schools, attended Utah State Agricultural College and missionary school. He was an active member of the LD6 Church serving a South3. western mission from He was active In Sunday School, MIA, served 14 years as counselor under two bishops and was ordained Bishop of the Henefer Ward July 19, 1988 where he served until 1930. At that time he was sustained as Summit Stake Patrlarch,aposl-tlo- u he held at the time of his death. He was Justice of the Peace In Henefer, served six years on the Henefer School Board, was clerk of the North Summit School Board tor eight years and served on the State Board of 8.
