Show Refugee From Indies Guest at S. IL Meeting A capable pianist, Miss Henny Bylo, subject of the East indies, entertained members of the four civic clubs of Sugar House Tuesday Tues-day noon with piano solos. Miss Bylo came to the United States about a year ago from the West Indies, where she was engaged as a school teacher. She was born and raised in the East Indies but followed her profession profes-sion in the West Indies. Miss Bylo's father, Joe Bylo, is professor of the General School in the West Indies, the equivalent equiva-lent to the principal of our elementary ele-mentary and high schools. Miss Bylo's mother and sisters are still in, Holland and no word has come from them for more than a year. The young teacher is a niece of Mrs. Jeanne Neeleman, manager mana-ger of Jeanne's Tea Room, 3022 Highland Drive, and Mrs. Anna Rip, 1812 South Eleventh East. |
